This place is stylish and cozy, fine and neat atmosphere, with culture connection in the cultural castle above it, the menu changes and is exquisite, the decoration is first class and the staff friendly.

Today for brunch in the castle cellar. Already the friendly greeting of the employee was very well received by us. The offer ranged from jam, honey, several sorts of sausage, many delicious cheeses, cereals, scrambled eggs with bacon, boiled eggs, juice to fruit salad, various bread rolls and breads. I have certainly forgotten half of this extensive offer. On warm dishes different meats, vegetables and side dishes. Also cakes and dessert offers. Everything was delicious. A big compliment to the arrangement of the food. Also to be highlighted is the friendly and attentive manner of the restaurant staff. We are very happy to come back and are already looking forward to it.

We were welcomed very friendly. The space and decor of the cellar is very cozy. The food tasted very good, the meat was cooked to the point. My grilled vegetables were a bit spicy, but the food on the whole a treat. The service was very friendly. The castle cellar is a cozy restaurant, which one likes to visit again and again, also in connection with a cultural evening in the castle. It was a very successful evening. We will gladly come again.

Dear Sir or Madam , We ordered 2 tickets for June 17, 2018 from 2 p.m. in the Schlosskeller restaurant in good time by phone to spend our 41st wedding anniversary there in a pleasant atmosphere. Full of expectation, we got out of the car around 1.40 p.m. and went down the steps to the open restaurant where we were greeted by the glow of lights and soft music. But this was the only thing for the next 20 minutes. All tables were set - we were the only guests - but also during this entire time the only people in the room. In order not to be so lonely, we first tried to step into different rooms and then to reach someone from the Kulturschloss via mobile phone. However, our request remained unsuccessful even after studying the menu and the contact numbers! After about 25 minutes we decided to go to another location in GRH. On the way to the car we noticed a woman and a man on the other side who were enjoying smoking. When asked whether someone was responsible for the castle cellar, this was answered in the affirmative with the argument that up to now they had been busy preparing for today's wedding. The young man in a waiter's uniform immediately said that he would come with us immediately - but we didn't feel like it anymore. In the Mückenschänke we found the right thing for the wedding day - it was very pleasant to be WELCOME there as a guest. Kind regards Family sunday

We were having dinner in the castle cellar yesterday. And totally excited. The waitress was very friendly and accommodated our requests. The food was really arranged on the plate with attention to detail. And it tasted super delicious. Gladly again.

Dear Ms. Michel, I am a waitress in the Schlosskeller Grossenhain. We didn't have brunch today. It took place in the palace and at the time of its entry we were still closed. There was also no food as described. Number of people is also not correct. I would be happy to have a personal conversation in the castle cellar.

Were there for brunch and never come back. Brunch with breakfast and lunch. The table was nicely set for 5 people with 1 pot of coffee and who wanted a tea but there is no Reubusch tea only the classic types of hail, chamomile, peppermint, black tea and herbal tea. Wherever everyone asked for Reubusch according to the waitress but it is too expensive for us to include in the range. Total people to eat about 20/30. It was definitely not enough choice for the money of about 25 € / per person. Breakfast the classic with egg cooked or fried, bacon, bun jam. small plate of antipasti and cheese. Hir was not refilled again to fill all the guests. 2 hours later lunch three dishes to choose from Chicken breast in egg coat, fish, roast pork with pasta, dumplings or potatoes. All the food cold. The pasta was so infused with garlic that the whole meal and the air stank. Really uncomfortable. Dumplings mushy; Salt the meat and sauce. Dessert everything mixed with water or ready powder totally uncomfortable to eat. It has nothing to do with brunch and not for the price. The competition doesn't sleep and whoever goes here can throw his money out the window. NOT RECOMMENDABLE. Guests with allergies stay at home here will not be discussed. Waitress there is nothing else then they eat something different but everywhere there are onions in there I'm sorry but there is no alternative. Something like that is not and is also not portable. At the end toilets dirty, disgusting, interior temperature cold and no soap to wash your hands and cold water. It has nothing to do with hygiene at times we were there at 10: 00h where it opened and if it looks like this then I am cleaning myself at all.

Was disappointed with the brunch. Price performance does not match. 10: 30h breakfast with small rolls, sausage, cheese, antipasti salad. Drinks coffee and orange juice. Butter as hard as frozen and not to be handled. 12h warm buffet consisting of chicken in an egg jacket, spaghetti in garlic, roast pork, sauerkraut, dumplings, knocki, pikeperch fillet, vegetables. Everything was very sober, hardly seasoned and for which it was supposedly freshly cooked. Food cold !!! Knocki very hard and mealy, dumplings inedible, dessert pana cotta with spring sauce, very sweet and mixed with water, in my opinion finished powder, like the tiramisu without alcohol, was very tasteless. That for 22 euros per person. Isn't it worth eating there again? Toilets women very cold from temperature no soap available, here one should pay more attention to hygiene.
